How does the process work?

It starts with a free phone consultation. We'll chat about your career history, the role you're targeting, and what makes you stand out. From there, we write a tailored resume and work with you through revisions until you're completely happy.

How long does it take to get my resume?

We understand that once you take the plunge to get your resume professionally written, you're keen to get it out there as soon as possible. That's why we offer a very quick turnaround service — as little as 48 business hours, depending on the complexity of your resume and our ability to connect with you. Rest assured, we will always endeavour to get it done as efficiently as possible.

Do I need to attend your office?

Not at all — we can write your resume no matter where in the world you are. After the initial phone call or contact, we send you a list of questions relevant to your industry and you either answer these or provide your existing resume along with any updated information. We then create a draft and email it to you. Depending on any outstanding questions or amendments, we may arrange a follow-up call or work through your guidance via email to complete the document. Once the draft is finalised, the turnaround on the final version is relatively fast — it largely depends on your response time.

Do you offer cover letters?

Yes! Cover letters are included where applicable. We'll discuss whether you need one during your consultation.

What industries do you specialise in?

We tailor resumes for Mining & Construction, Trades, Administration, Education, Retail & Hospitality, and Health. If your industry isn't listed, get in touch — we research every role we write for.

How many revisions do I get?

Accepted Answer

Unlimited revisions until you're happy. We mean it. Your resume needs to feel right to you — we won't stop until it does.

Question 8

What format will my resume be delivered in?

Accepted Answer

Your resume will be delivered in both Word and PDF formats so you can easily make minor updates yourself in the future.

Question 9

Do you help with Seek and LinkedIn profiles?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we can assist with both your Seek profile and LinkedIn profile as part of our service. Ask us about this during your consultation.

Question 10

What does '12 months free minor upgrades' mean?

Accepted Answer

A resume is a living document — it needs to grow as you do. As you progress in your role or gain new skills, qualifications, or referees, we're happy to add these to your resume free of charge within 12 months of your original service. Please note: wanting to retarget your resume toward a completely different career or industry is not considered a minor adjustment and will incur an additional fee — though not the same as the initial service fee.

Do you include all of my past experience and qualifications?

Accepted Answer

Not always — and that's intentional. Depending on the role you're targeting, omitting certain qualifications can actually work in your favour. Some older or unrelated credentials can clutter your resume, while others may make you appear overqualified, raising concerns for an employer that you're only using the role as a temporary stop-gap. We'll guide you on what to include and what to leave out to give you the best possible chance.

What does free mentorship look like?

Our mentorship support can include providing e-books and resources to assist your job search, interview preparation guidance, help with decision-making, and general career advice. Please note: we won't make decisions for you — we provide practical, honest advice so you can make educated decisions that are right for your unique situation. Everyone's employment journey is different, and we respect that.
